Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operating commercial dishwashing machines and hand-washing pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glassware, and flatware.
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, floors, walls, drains, workstations, and large equipment (ovens, grills, refrigerators, hoods, steam tables).
Performing deep cleans and preventive maintenance; reporting equipment issues.
Sorting, storing, and restocking clean dishware, utensils, and supplies for cooking and service stations.
Managing inventory of cleaning chemicals (proper dilution and safe handling) and sometimes assisting with receiving/storing food and supply deliveries.
