Core Responsibilities:
Personal care – bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance
Household support – light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation
Medication reminders – prompting clients to take medication on schedule (most caregivers cannot administer medication unless certified)
Companionship – conversation, emotional support, engaging in hobbies or activities
Transportation – driving to appointments, errands, or social outings
Monitoring health – observing and reporting changes in condition, mobility, or behavior to family or medical staff.
