Janitor

Floor care: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, buffing, or waxing floors and carpets.
Restroom cleaning and restocking: Sanitizing toilets, sinks, and mirrors; replenishing soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies.
Waste management: Emptying trash and recycling bins and disposing of waste properly (sometimes including sorting or composting).
Surface cleaning: Dusting furniture, fixtures, and shelves; wiping and disinfecting high-touch surfaces (door handles, light switches, counters); washing walls, windows, and glass.
Spill and hazard response: Cleaning up spills or messes promptly and setting up caution signs.
Minor repairs and maintenance: Changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues (e.g., leaky faucets or unclogging toilets), tightening fixtures, or reporting larger problems to supervisors.
