Typical job duties:
Loading, unloading, and moving materials, tools, and equipment
Preparing sites by clearing debris, digging, leveling, and setting up work areas
Mixing and spreading concrete, gravel, sand, and other materials
Assisting with bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and demolition work
Operating basic equipment such as jackhammers, compactors, drills, wheelbarrows, and power tools
Installing temporary barriers, safety fencing, and signage
Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas.
