Main duties:
Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Measure and prepare metal pieces for welding
Choose the correct welding method and equipment
Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, stick, or oxy-fuel methods
Inspect welds for quality and strength
Grind, cut, shape, or repair metal parts as needed
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
