Typical responsibilities:
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
Install electrical wiring, conduit, raceways, panels, switches, outlets, and fixtures
Connect power systems to machinery, HVAC units, lighting, and appliances
Test circuits and troubleshoot faults using meters and diagnostic tools
Perform preventive maintenance and repair damaged electrical components
Follow NEC/local code requirements and job-site safety procedures
Work with contractors, supervisors, engineers, and other trades.
