Typical job duties:
Install and maintain electrical wiring, conduit, panels, transformers, motors, drives, and control systems
Diagnose faults in motors, circuits, PLCs, sensors, and industrial equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and equipment failures
Repair or replace damaged components, breakers, fuses, wiring, and control devices
Test electrical systems using multimeters, megohmmeters, voltage testers, and other tools
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety standards.
